“The world fears time, but time fears the pyramids”

                   old Arab saying...

You’ll find out exactly why time fears the pyramids as you enter the world of Atumra.  A journey that will take you into the tenth dimension and reveal the true purpose of the pyramids – to power the time shift needed to save the world as we know it.

Atumra, a new series of speculative fantasy novels, explores the world of Lord Ra and his plight to use the pyramids to save our universe from evil.

Elizabeth Newton is the author of the Atumra series and she invites you to join her on this galactic, multi-dimensional journey…

“Lord Ra is an enigmatic and charismatic visitor from the tenth dimension.  He resides mainly in the dark side of the soul.  He is also the pyramid builder.

Ra built the pyramids located in Giza, Cairo, Egypt, in about 12,000BC.  He is the original sphinx, a reptilian with expansive wings and a head that resembles a male lion.  With large eyes and a flat nose, he’s more like a dinosaur than a lion.  Ra incorporated his image into the pyramid structure as a message to those who sent him that he now rules this galaxy.

So why did Lord Ra build the pyramids?

He did this because he needed a power station to fuel the time shift.  The three main Giza pyramids and the Sphinx comprise the visible component of the power station that will fuel a galactic shift to take our existence from the third to the fifth dimension:  thus ending time, as we know it.  This time shift will be the fulfilment of the prophecies regarding the end times and it is designed to happen 2012AD-2020AD.

Lord Ra is a dark being but he is the only being powerful enough to fight the evil force threatening the universe.  And the time shift is a weapon to fight the encroaching evil.  The source of this evil is unknown and Lord Ra must not only find out where it has come from but also what form it takes…”

THE PYRAMID BUILDER

Author’s Note

Conventional theory about the origins of the Sphinx located on the Giza Plateau, Cairo, Egypt, is that it was built during the period known as the ‘Old Kingdom’ on the orders of a Pharaoh named Khafre.

But I prefer the theory that it is the ‘Living Image of Atum’, probably referring to Atum-Ra, the main god worshipped by the Ancient Egyptians.

In the ‘Atumra’ series of books, the first of which is ‘The Pyramid Builder’, the Sphinx is, quite literally, the image of Atum-Ra – an image of an alien life form.

There can be no doubt that Ra completely dominated the lives of the Ancient Egyptians and he was worshipped as a god for thousands of years.  What if this devoted worship was based upon the knowledge (knowledge now lost) that Atum-Ra really existed?

Recent geological evidence suggests that the Sphinx is much older than the period of the ‘Old Kingdom’ and is possibly up to 20,000 years old.  If this is correct, then it appeared on the Giza Plateau prior to the existence of any civilisation known to be capable of building it.  If the Sphinx has existed for 20,000 years, what influence would its presence have had on a culture established much later?

Conventional theory takes the view that the head of the Sphinx probably represents the features of Khafre, wearing the traditional headdress of the Pharaohs.  By implication, conventional theory suggests that the head of the Sphinx was designed to incorporate this traditional headdress.

But what if we reverse this theory on the basis that the Sphinx not only predated the Pharaohs, but also predated the establishment of the Ancient Egyptian culture?  What if the traditional headdress of the Pharaohs was designed to emulate the head of the Sphinx?  To the Ancient Egyptians, the Pharaoh represented their god upon this earth.  If legend held that the Sphinx was the living image of their god, why wouldn’t the Pharaoh wear a headdress that helped him look like Ra?

Sphinx like statues, carvings and other forms of images can be found in every facet of Ancient Egyptian life.  Why such devotion to the Sphinx like form?

What if Atum-Ra really was an alien visitor who looked like the Sphinx?  What if he is as large as the Sphinx or even larger?

What if he has returned?
